Standard First Aid with CPR Adult, Child, and Infant or Babysitter's Training
Standard First Aid with CPR-Adult, Child, and Infant HSSFA413
Designed for childcare providers, teachers, parents, and others who care for children, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 12 years old.
This course also covers first aid and adult CPR in an approach that complements adult learning styles, featuring hands-on practice and real-life scenarios. Useful take-home course materials help you retain skills and serve as an excellent refresher and reference tool after training is complete. Updated with the latest science for first aid, CPR, and emergency cardiovascular care; meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines. All portions of class must be attended. Length 8 hrs

Explain the role of CPR in cardiac arrest.
• Identify the general steps for the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED).
• Demonstrate how to use an AED on an adult and child.

Recognize the signals of a breathing emergency.
• Recognize the signals of a cardiac emergency.
• Identify the links in the Cardiac Chain of Survival.
• Demonstrate how to give cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
CPR—Adult, Child and Infant HSSFA301

Standard First Aid HSSFA101
Learn the skills needed to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive. This course covers first aid in an approach that complements adult learning styles, featuring hands-on practice and real-life scenarios. Useful take-home course materials help you retain skills and serve as an excellent refresher and reference tool after training is complete. Updated with the latest science for first aid; meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines. Lenght 4.5 hrs
Standard First Aid and CPR Renewal Course
This course is for advanced students who have recertified within the past year. Course will cover basic refresher, skills test and written exam. Students should bring in textbooks from previous course and certification.
CPR/AED for the Professional and Health Care Provider Review
This course is for advanced students who have recertified within the past year. Course will cover basic refresher, skills test and written exam. Students should bring in textbooks from previous course or online renewal certification.
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Health Care Provider HSPRO101
American Red Cross professional rescuer courses are designed for people with a job-related duty to respond in an emergency, including nurses, law enforcement, EMS personnel, fire fighters, business and industry response teams, lifeguards, flight attendants, and others who must take action in emergency situations. Lenght 8 hrs
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer combines participant's manual, lectures and video with hands-on skills training to cover the following areas:

Responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants

Using an AED on an adult or child victim of cardiac arrest and using personal protective equipment t stop bloodborne pathogens and other diseases from spreading
California Child Care: Health & Safety 9250H
This 8 hour course providing trainig for daycare providers about preventing infectious diseases, caring for ill children and checking for immunizations in the child care setting. Fee includes the State approved sticker. Lenght 8 hrs All portions of class must be attended.
Water Safety Today
Designed to help increase safety wherever and whenever water sports are enjoyed. Class is especially important for baby sitters and foster care parents who may have a pool or spa on their property.
Widerness First Aid
Wilderness First Aid Basics is a 16-hour program that is designed for those who work, live, or play in remote areas such as rural areas , wilderness and back-country environments. This course contains the module “When Help is Delayed” and provides an excellent program for boaters, camp workers, scouts, hikers and other outdoor sports enthusiasts.
Instructor Course for the Lay Responder CPR/FA/AED
Our train-the-trainer program allow you to become a Red Cross instructor and train others to save lives. To become an instructor follow these steps:
Asthma Inhaler Training Lesson
This lesson can be added to first aid and CPR training and is designed to help individuals learn how to correctly administer an asthma inhaler to a person who is having an asthma attack.
Length: 45 minutes. Course Fee: $10.00 Call for Appointment

All classes will be held at the chapter unless other wise stated.
You may register by phone with payment by credit card, in person, or by mail. Payment must be received before we can "save your place" in any class. You may also register by email or fax.
Attendance: Please be on time, late comers will not be allowed into class; This means everyone. Failing to attend a class in which you are registered will result in forfeiting the course fee. Please no walk ins.
Certification: Certification is will be issue after class is completed and passed.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing. You will be working with training manikins on the floor.
Health Precautions: You should postpone participating in CPR classes if you are suffering from or have been exposed to any temporary infection, or if you have any cuts or sores. You may ask to use a seperate CPR training manikin if you have a chronic or acute condition but are unable to postpone training.
Physical Activity: Most classes require physical activities, frequent kneeling and moving about on the floor, and using physical effort to perform certain skills. Students must be able to perform all skills satisfactorily. Special needs should be addressed before registration. Please wear appropriate attire for physical activities.
Prerequisite: For any course requiring prior training you must have proof of training at the first class meeting (your instructor will ask to see it).
Refunds: Sorry, we have a no refund policy.
Transfers: A transfer can only take place if we are notified 48 hours before the class.
